  19. Of  all  the  Sceners  who  reacted on
  20. Devotion#2, Polish Kempy of  Veezya is

  29. the best reaction I got and after all;»CL1:
  30. it all started with  his mail, which I
  31. got hold  of  through Wade. I received
  32. Kempys  mail  dated  July  26th  2001,
  33. which  as  said  was  very interesting
  34. though a  little  bit  vague to me. Of
  35. course, you have  no  idea  what  I am
  36. writing  about  right now, so I better
  37. print   that  specific   mail   first.

  40. (ed: Kempy) side. yes you're right - I
  41. have "devotion"#2   on  my  mind  now.
  42. especially  sane's  article  "scene is
  43. dead" - I agree  with  it  in  100%...
  44. but  only  if  we  replace all "scene"
  45. words with "sane's  brain"  sentences.
  46. oh yes, then this article will be 100%
  47. right  I think!   that's all, bye  for

  50. Of course, I was ecstatic about Kempys
  51. mail! »CL8:I was very happy because someone
  52. had  actually  analysed Devotion#2 and
  53. had even reacted on one of my articles
  54. ("The Scene is dead!").»CL1:  Most  Sceners
  55. just  quickly read  (or  do  not  even
  56. bother  to read!)  and  then   try  to
  57. forget  my  articles  again as fast as
  58. they possibly can.  Kempy  got  out of
  59. his lazy chair, typed  a reaction, and
  60. sent it to Wade. I wondered why he had
  61. not  sent  the  mail to my address ...
  62. After all; my address was also present
  63. in Devotion#2, but that minor  setdown
  64. could not ruin my manic state of mind.

  84. with  a  capital "P" on  the  scale of
  85. poorness, he managed to speak out what
  86. he thought and basically told me I was
  87. a  lamer  with  lame  thoughts. Great!

  97. Baywatch girls started running. It was
  98. like your mother who switched off your
  99. Playstation  2  just  when   you  were
  100. winning with  Gran  Turismo 3.  Again,
  101. you   do  not  understand  what  I  am
  102. writing  about  so  I better print the
  103. "P.S." of Kempy first.

  110. Why  does  Kempy  doubt  whether  this
  111. article  was  written  to  provoke the
  112. readers? He showed his intelligence by
  113. telling me  how  lame I was by writing
  114. the specific story. »CL7:Now  he acts plain
  115. stupid   by    asking   a   completely
  116. redundant  question.»CL1:  Even  in grammar
  117. school, you  were  taught not to raise
  118. redundant issues, Kempy. OF  COURSE, I
  119. mainly  wrote  this article to provoke
  120. the readers.
  121. I do think  the  Scene is not so great
  122. anymore  compared to what it once was,
  123. but of  course, I do  not REALLY think
  124. the Scene is  actually dead. What good
  125. would it do me when I was producing 13
  126. articles   for   a    magazine,  which
  127. supports a supposedly dead Scene? Ever
  128. heard  of   sarcasm,   criticism,  and
  129. irony? »CL6:I  tried  to  set  the  silent,
  130. dull, and  boring  magazine-scene into
  131. the next gear.»CL1: Together  with Wade,  I
  132. tried to set the mag-scene into motion
  133. again. »CL7:We tried to motivate writers to
  134. write  articles. I  hope we succeeded.
  135. Well, when  I  read  issue  43 of  The
  136. Official Eurochart I knew we did.»CL1: That
  137. is another story  and does not make up
  138. for my gigantic  loss. King  Kempy was
  139. slain by his own "P.S.". What a shame.

  141. To  end  the  article  I should stress
  142. once more  that  I  of  course did not
  143. only  try  to provoke  the readers and
  144. fellow  Sceners  by writing an article
  145. called "The Scene is dead!" Certainly,
  146. it was  not  cheap as it cost me a few
  147. hours  and  some  sweat  to  write the
  148. mentioned  article.  »CL8:Anyway,  the late
  149. King Kempy was  right in many a way as
  150. the  article  was   mainly   meant  to
  151. provoke  people  so they would finally
  152. start to  write again.»CL1: I really do not
  153. care whether  people  disagree with me
  154. or  even  seriously  dislike me. All I
  155. care for is to  make people engage the
  156. Scene  again  as  I  do love the Scene
  157. very, very much.
